Career
Dr. Chandrashekhar was allotted to Bihar cadre as an IAS officer in the year of 2010. He was posted as Assistant Collector (probationer) at Aurangabad for one year district training after the completion of one year academic training at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) Mussoorie. His first independent posting was Sub-Divisional Magistrate Hajipur Vaishali (Aug.2012- Feb.2014), the origin land of republic democracy. After that he was posted as Deputy Development Commissioner Bhagalpur (Feb.2014- Aug.2015), the Silk city of Bihar. His first posting as the District Magistrate was at Sheikhpura district (Aug.2015- Apr.2016). Then he was posted as District Magistrate Darbhanga (Apr.2016- Feb.2019), the heart of Mithilanchal. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary to honorable Chief Minister of Bihar.
AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS
Dr. Chandrashekhar always got appreciations and blessings of his teachers. He got an appreciation letter for his sincerity and dedication during the IRS training in 2010. He again received an appreciation certificate during IAS training at LBSNAA, Mussoorie in 2011. Being an excellent administrator his works have been recognized by the government. He has been awarded several times for his performance and efficiency by Honorable Chief Minister of Bihar-
- 2016- for the effective implementation of Bihar Right to Public Service Act.
- 2017- for the effective implementation of Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act.
- 2018- for maintaining Law & Order and communal harmony in effective manner in the district.
